It was reported from the Noble Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, some comprehensive and prohibitive commandments of great value and the indispensable benefit of a Muslim in his daily life and his public and private situations , and in your hands are some of the commandments (a summary of what came in a book entitled:

The Commandments of the Messenger Thirty of the commandments of the Messenger, peace be upon him, by Sheikh Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi, may God Almighty have mercy on him) with acknowledgment of the inability to understand all of his commandments, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him:

1. Seven commandments collected from the Prophet, peace be upon him, to Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him:

On the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, who said: My friend ordered me to do seven things:

He commanded me to love the poor and to be close to them.

He commanded me to look at someone who is below me and not to look at someone who is above me.

And he ordered me to out of the womb and managed. He commanded me not to ask anyone anything.

And he commanded me to speak the truth, even if it was bitter. And he commanded me not to fear the blame of the blamer for the sake of God.

And he commanded me to say a lot of saying there is no might nor power except with God, for they are from a treasure under the Throne.

2. The commandment to visit the graves and consider the dead

On the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God recommended him and said to him:

“Visit the graves to remember the hereafter, and wash the dead, for treating an empty body is an eloquent exhortation.”

3. The Seven Eloquent Commandments

The Messenger of God said: My Lord has enjoined upon me seven things which I command you:  He recommended sincerity in secret and in public. And justice in contentment and anger. .

The intent is rich and poor.

And to forgive those who wronged me.

I was given to those who forbade me.

I am the one who cut me off.

And to be: my silence is a thought, my speech is a remembrance, and my view is a lesson.”

4. Five beneficial commandments

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said:

The Messenger of God said:

Who takes these words from me and works with them or teaches those who work with them?

Abu Huraira said: I said: O Messenger of God, he took my hand and counted five.

He said: Beware of incest, you would be the most worshipful of people.

And be satisfied with what God has divided you, you will be the richest of people.

And better to your neighbor be a believer.

And love for people what you love for yourself, be a Muslim.

Do not laugh too much, for too much laughter kills the heart.”

Remembrance of God after prayer On the authority of Muadh bin Jabal, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God took his hand and said:

“O Muadh, by God, I love you, by God, I love you.”

He said: “I advise you, O Muadh, do not leave behind every prayer saying: O God, help me to remember you, to thank you, and to worship you well.”

5. From the rights of a Muslim

over a Muslim On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Do not envy, do not quarrel, do not enmity, do not contrive, and do not sell one another to sell each other, and be the servants of God as brothers.

And pointing to his chest three times, according to a Muslim, it is evil to despise his Muslim brother.

6. The Prophet’s will to Ibn Abbas:

On the authority of Abu Abbas, may God be pleased with him, he said: I was behind the Messenger of God one day, and he said: “Boy, I am teaching you the words:

God protect you, he will protect you, God will protect you. If you ask, then ask God, and if you seek help, seek help from God, and know that if the nation gathers to benefit you with something.

They did not benefit you except with something that God had written for you, and if they gathered together to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with something that God had written for you, the pens were lifted and the papers dried.”

7. Preliminaries to entering Heaven:

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: I said, O Messenger of God! If I see you, I am happy and my eyes are satisfied, then tell me about everything? He said: “Everything was created from water.”

He said: I said: O Messenger of God, inform me of a matter that if you take it, I will enter Paradise? He said: Spread the greetings of peace, feed the food, maintain the ties of kinship, and rise at night while the people are sleeping, then enter Paradise in peace.

8. Three commandments from the Prophet to Abu Dharr:

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: My friend recommended three things to me: I will not leave them until I die:  Fasting three days of every month.  Duha prayer.  And sleep on a chord.”

9. The commandment to be kind when slaughtering an animal

On the authority of Shaddad bin Aws, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet said: “God has decreed kindness for everything, so if you kill, then kill well.

10. Prohibition of extravagance and vanity

On the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Eat, give alms, and wear clothes without extravagance or arrogance.”

11. Six things that guarantee heaven

On the authority of Ubadah ibn al-Samit, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet said: “Guarantee for me six from yourselves, and I will guarantee you Paradise:  Believe if you talk.  And fulfill if you promised.  And pay if you are entrusted. And save your frogs.  And close your eyes.  And stop your hands.”

12. Seize five before five

The Prophet said to a man while admonishing him: Take advantage of five before five:  Your youth before your old age.  Your health before your illness.

Your wealth before your poverty.  And your free time before you work. and your life before your death.”

13. Be in this world as if you were a stranger

On the authority of Abu Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God took hold of my shoulder and said: “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a wayfarer.”

And Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them, used to say: “If the evening comes, do not wait for the morning, and if the morning comes, do not wait for the evening, and take from your health for your illness, and from your life for your death.”

14. From his commandments on travel

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, he said: “Travel is a piece of torment. One of you prevents him from eating, drinking, and sleeping. If he fulfills his hunger, let him hurry to his family.”

15. From the morning and evening remembrances

On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said: A Messenger to Fatima, may God be pleased with her, said:

“What prevents you from hearing what I command you to say when morning and evening: O live, O Qayyum, with your mercy I seek help, set right for me all of my affairs, and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye. “.

16. From the characteristics of a believer

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger said: “A strong believer is better and more beloved to God than a weak believer, and in every good.

Be careful of what benefits you, seek God’s help and do not be helpless, and if something befalls you, do not say if I had done such and such, but say God’s decree and what He wills He does, for if you open up the work of Satan.”

17. In slandering injustice and stinginess

On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God said: “Beware of injustice, for injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection, and beware of scarcity, for scarcity decimated those who were before you.

18. It is forbidden to supplicate for oneself, children, and money

On the authority of Jaber, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Do not pray for yourselves, do not pray for your children, do not pray for your money, do not agree from God an hour when a tender is asked and He will respond to you.”

19. Avoid the Seven Punishments

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, he said: “Avoid the seven sins. ” They said: O Messenger of God, what are they? He said:  Polytheism.

And killing the soul that God has forbidden except by right.  And eat usury .

And eat the money of the orphan . And take over on the day of the crawl.

He slandered chaste women who were oblivious to believing.”

20. Seeking refuge with Allah

On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Whoever seeks your protection by God, seek refuge with him, and whoever asks you by God, give him, and whoever calls you, respond to him, and whoever does you a favor, reward him.

21. On the merits of Friday

On the authority of Aws bin Aws, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Verily, among the best of your days is Friday, on which Adam was created, on which he died, and on which the trumpet was blown, and on which the thunderbolt was made.

22. Ten Commandments of the Prophet to Muadh

On the authority of Muadh bin Jabal, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God recommended me ten words and said:  Do not associate with God even if you are killed and burned.

Do not sterilize your parents, even if they command you to leave your family and property.

And do not leave a written prayer intentionally, for whoever neglects a written prayer intentionally, he has been discharged under the protection of God.  And do not drink wine, for it is the head of every immorality.

And beware of disobedience, for disobedience dissolves God’s wrath.  And beware of fleeing from the crawl and that people perished.  If people die, prove it.

And spend on your family from your height.  And do not lift your stick politely from them.  And fear them in God.
